Welcome + Introduction

I am thrilled to announce the offical launch of The Scheherazade Project, which has been in the works for several years (!).

I am creating a series of abstract-expressionist collages as an ongoing exploration of orientalism in Western media, specifically in National Geographic Magazines. Each canvas will feature one magazine, deconstructed in chronologically order and pieced back together in a densely detailed, mosaic-like memoryscape that captures my subconscious thoughts during creation.
